In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the tongue has long been observed as a reflection of the body's overall state. Characteristics such as color, coating, shape, moisture, and texture help practitioners recognize broader patterns of balance and imbalance.
Health Mirror adapts this tradition using on-device computer vision. It observes visual tongue signals and translates them into educational wellness reflections—not medical diagnoses.

When Health Mirror refers to concepts such as Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lung, or Kidney, it is referring to Traditional Chinese Medicine organ systems rather than physical organs. These names describe functional relationships within TCM and should not be interpreted as medical findings about the corresponding anatomical organs.

Saved reflections remain encrypted within your device's secure storage. You retain full control over your data. Journey history, profile information, and consent records can all be removed directly from the app at any time.
